About
Offline Arcade started as a shared notes file between three friends who kept recommending each other games during long commutes. Half the time the metro had no signal, so we naturally gravitated toward titles that didn't beg for a connection every thirty seconds. That habit turned into a small editorial project.,We only cover games that actually run offline. Before anything goes on the site, someone on the team installs it, plays for at least a few hours, and switches airplane mode on to check what breaks. If a game locks you out without a connection, it doesn't make the catalog.,Our picks lean toward variety. We like a meaty RPG as much as a quiet logic puzzle or a goofy racing game, so the catalog mixes genres on purpose. We're not chasing the biggest titles — we're chasing the ones worth your battery.,There's no sponsor deciding what we write. The reviews reflect what we thought after playing, warts and all, and we say when something disappointed us.
